Newmark Dental is a friendly family run practice in the second generation. Here we strive to treat every patient as a friend and family member. As we value your time, appointments are made in order to allow the full atention of the doctor and staff and to avoid waiting time. For dental emergency we will make arrangement to see and care for you as soon as possible with minimal waiting time. Dr. Tran is also reachable after business hours via voicemail or by cellphone.
Initial Examination: Each patient will receive a thorough examination. This examination includes a review of your medical history, a clinical exam and necessary x-rays, diagnostic photographs and models as needed for an accurate diagnosis. Following the examination, we will explain the findings and discuss with you about the best suited treatments.
Emergencies: If you are having a dental emergency (acute pain, swelling, bleeding, dental traumas ect...) please call our office ASAP or stop by so we can address your immediate problem.
Minors: Parental approval of the dental treatment is needed. Parents are welcome to accompany their child into the operatory if they wish. Please let us know if you need an attestation for school enrollment
Insurance Plans: Dental insurance is a plan that financially assists in the expense of dental treatment. Most dental plans cover preventive care, cleanings, check-ups, protective dental sealants, x-rays, and fluoride treatment at 80-100%. Basic care, including root canal therapy, extractions, and fillings are usually covered at 80%. Major care such as crowns (caps), permanent bridgework, and full or partial dentures as well as periodontal care are often covered at 50%. Many insurance companies have a yearly maximum of a $1000-2000. Dental insurance is not cumulative, so if you don't use it, you lose it.
Our office is a PPO-provider for most major insurances like Aetna, Metlife, Bluecross-Blueshield, Delta Dental, Cigna, Safeguard, United Concordia, Medi-Cal... For the initial visit please bring a copy of the insurance card for verification purposes, we will help you understand the benefits covered under your dental plan.
Payment Policy: When extensive treatment is necessary, an estimate of the fee will be presented before services are rendered. We will explain our payment policies and make financial arrangements that are mutually satisfactory. If you have dental insurance, we will assist you to receive the benefits you are entitled to. As a courtesy, we accept insurance assignment for many plans; however, the amount due is always the patients' responsibility, as they are receiving the service. Payments are accepted in cash, check, VISA or MasterCard. Interest free payment plans are available for orthodontic work by special arrangement.
